Reservations
The initial room night rate includes a 16% resort fee. Sweetgrass Inn, Boardwalk Inn, and Residence at Sweetgrass Inn are included in the meeting room block. The booking link will show a specific room; however, the specific hotel-bedding is not guaranteed. Guests are advised to contact the resort’s Registration Team at 877-624-3654 if specific bedding is needed or to request the hotel preference. The group/name code is 2024 SCOAR Fall Meeting/3171IG.
Please note, the link defaults to September 23-25 since those are the dates that have the most availability for the group block. Guests needing to modify the dates to align with their dates of travel will need to select the EDIT button, choose their dates, and update the search to check availability.
*You must be registered as a meeting attendee to qualify for the guaranteed room rate. Non-members of SCOAR who are not registered for the meeting by the cutoff will be removed from the room block and charged according to the resort’s prevailing room rates.
Guest Room Rates are subject to tax, which is currently 14% sales and accommodations tax and a 16% Resort Services fee. The resort fee is included in the stated room rate. A Charleston County destination fee of $2 and a beach re-nourishment fee of $2 per occupied room night will be applied to each guest folio. Taxes and fees are subject to change without notice.
In the event an individual guest does not have a major credit card at check-in, Wild Dunes requires full payment of room and tax in advance, along with a refundable deposit for incidentals–$100 for the first night and $90 for all additional nights.
Early Departure Fee. Wild Dunes has an early departure fee of one-night’s room and tax. Departure dates are reconfirmed at check-in and are subject to a fee if changed after the check-in process is completed.
Resort Fee. The Resort Fee of 16% per room per day plus applicable tax provides for use of resort activities and amenities. These activities and amenities include:
- Complimentary access to indoor and outdoor games & gaming consoles
- Complimentary putting green and pitching green access
- Two complimentary bottled waters daily in guestrooms & use of hydration filling stations
- Complimentary seasonal Island Adventures recreation activities
- Complimentary in-room coffee
- On-property resort transportation services
- Unlimited use of fitness center
- Unlimited internet access in all accommodations
- One hour of complimentary tennis court time daily after 12:00 pm

- Basic meeting package including notepads, pens, and house linens

- Handling of receiving, storage, and delivery of up to 5 boxes
Cut-Off Date
The “Cut-Off Date” is August 22, 2024. After that date, all rooms within the Total Guest Room Block that have not been reserved will be returned to the Hotel’s general inventory. Reservation requests for rooms within the Total Guest Room Block received after the Cut-off Date will be based on availability at the Hotel’s prevailing rates. Name changes on, or other transfers of, room reservations will be not be accepted after the Cut-off Date.
Check-in and Check Out Times
Check-in time is 4:00 p.m.; early check-in is subject to availability. The hotel offers complimentary luggage storage.
Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. for hotel guest rooms and 10:00 a.m. to homes and condos. Late checkout is subject to availability. Guests occupying their room beyond check-out time, without the Hotel’s authorization, will be charged for an additional night.
Housekeeping
Guests of the Residences, Sweetgrass Inn, and Boardwalk Inn receive daily service.
Parking
Valet parking is available and the current daily rates are:
- Overnight valet: $35 per night with in/out privileges
- Daily Valet Parking: $10
No self parking is available.
