Reservations
The hotel recommends using the online registration system to make room reservations. All individual reservations made by group attendees are subject to the hotel’s individual reservation cancellation policy outlined below.
Reservation Cancellations. Reservation cancellations must occur at least 48 hours prior to checkin (4:00 pm EST) on the scheduled day of arrival in order to avoid a cancellation fee. Any reservation cancelled less than 48 hours before scheduled arrival will be assessed a fee equal to a one-night room rate and tax.
Early Departure. Please note that after check-in, any changes to the reservation that results in a departure date earlier than what was confirmed at check-in will incur an Early Departure fee equal to one nights’ room and tax.
Check-in/Check-Out
The hotel’s check-in time is 4:00 pm. Room assignments prior to that time are on a “space availability” basis only. The hotel’s checkout time is 11:00 am. Any attendees staying in their room beyond check-out time without Hyatt Regency’s authorization may be charged a late departure up to an amount equal to one night’s room and tax depending on the time of actual departure.
Parking
The Hyatt Regency has limited parking available to our guests and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Daily parking rates, which are current at the time of the SCOAR Winter Meeting, will apply. For comparison, current rates for overnight valet parking is $50. We have negotiated a 20% discount on valet parking.
