The purpose of SCOAR’s Member Safety Excellence Awards Program (TOPS) is to recognize project and program excellence while also demonstrating a corporate commitment to construction safety.
SCOAR encourages member companies to participate in an effort to capture and share best practices in safety for the betterment of the entire organization.
SCOAR’s Board of Directors seeks to promote the prestige and honor that the TOPS Awards signify to the SCOAR community and beyond.
Two Award/Recognition opportunities are available as part of the TOPS Awards program. These are Project Safety Excellence Awards and Safety Program Excellence Awards.
SCOAR’s 2024 Target Outstanding Project Program Safety (TOPS) Awards application cycle is May 22-July 26. The program includes project and program awards. The project award is for a specific project performed by a member company during the program year specified. The Program Award is for a corporate or company exemplary safety program.
The deadline for submission is midnight (EST) on July 26.
The Program Guidelines provide an overview of the program, criteria for both project and program awards, and instructions for completing the application.
The SCOAR Safety Excellence Awards Programs (TOPS) Panel (a subcommittee of the SCOAR Safety Committee) will review and evaluate all completed applications and make award recommendations based on a consensus decision by its members.
Any Awards Panel member whose company application is being reviewed will abstain from the review and voting process for that group of applicants.
Applications must be received via email or mail by midnight (EST) on this date.
Award winners confirmed by review panel.
